I was asked to visit SAM Networking as a guest in October 2021 by someone I knew who was a member. I hadn’t done networking before, so I didn’t know what to expect.

What a fantastic welcome I received from a great bunch of people who are all like-minded and full of enthusiasm for their businesses. I joined straight away. Two Expos, a charity ball, two barbecues, and two Christmas parties and over two years later I feel like a valued member of a very successful team. Would I join anywhere else? Would I chuff!

There once was a lady named Sam, who cheered for each business, oh, damn! With a ‘chuffin’ hell’ she’d exclaim, support them all in the business game. I’m a big fan!

Like most things in life, the leader shapes the group/people/country, etc. to reflect their beliefs. SAM Networking is no exception. Sam has created an atmosphere that is warm, inviting and allows me to say I’m crap at that’. The other businesses in the group are encouraged to be supportive and kind and offer help when and where it is needed. It’s a great laugh and no meeting is complete without Sam saying ‘Chuffin’ Hell’. I learn something every week and my business has benefited enormously from being a member.

SAM Networking offers a great atmosphere, great people and great referrals. I am glad to be an inaugural member of the group.

I network to meet other business professionals so that I can build a network of trusted people to recommend to my client’s when they ask me for a service that I can’t offer. I receive business referrals back from members of the group which helps to continue to grow my business. SAM Networking is different to other groups I have visited because it is relaxed and only genuine people join the group. I therefore feel confident recommending members of this group to my own clients.

I’ve been looking back at 2021 and realised most of the business I’ve given and received has come from being in our local SAM Networking Ltd group. Not only have they given Portel business but they’ve also given me support and friendship, a reason to get up, dress up and turn up every Friday even in the early morning grim winter weather (Welcome to Yorkshire !). It’s always a warm welcome and lots of valuable interaction. Yes 2021 has been the worst of times but its also been the best of times, partly due to Samantha Hartley and her brilliant idea to set up SAM Networking Ltd
